Beautiful assets for our village!
Following the development of new homes on the Kingfisher Site, the Parish Council has worked closely with the developers to acquire some important assets for our village including. Please view the full article for more details.

Following the development of new homes on the Kingfisher Site, the Parish Council has worked closely with the developers to acquire some important assets for our village including:
- Additional allotments plots – that will be allocated to residents on the waiting list.
- A Community Orchard – with a variety of fruit trees south of the main development adjacent to open fields.
- A Community Woodland – the area of land adjacent to Dereham Road and Old Hall Road will be landscaped and planted with community involvement. It is proposed to name this important environmental asset The Mattishall Coronation Community Woodland.
These amenities will be available for all Mattishall residents to enjoy. Do please look out for requests for volunteers to help with planting, along with information about opening dates, on the Parish Council website and social media.
